I loved the pictures of the places that had been visited. The directions were very clear and you could follow the walk from the sofa as well as the ground!

I liked the adaptability - there were lots of options so people could choose what they wanted to do and also fit it to the time available. It drew the reader in by suggesting they might just stop off for a couple of hours on a journey on the M6 and then giving them loads more suggestions. The photos made it all very inviting!

Nicely laid out with good instructions and maps. Did the "Verdant Pageant Of The Irthing" walk shortly after getting my copy and was lovely. Good idea to have walks you can start from public transport

Encourages me to visit places not been to before. Love the added history/info as it enhances the experience and makes you feel as you know the places better

I liked the whole publication. The lay-out and the maps are very good.
Miss Val Parker
It' a very good way of finding out about an area, with clear route guides and very helpful B&B suggestions, which saves a lot of "research" time.
Mr Peter Strevens
Great instructions written with knowledge and enthusiasm for the area. A one stop shop for walking in the Hadrian's wall area. No other guides needed.

I took this up to my Dad for him to use (they live in Wigton) He has walked the fells forever!!! and we walked them with him when we were little but looking through your guide we found it very clear, easy to follow, with lots of hidden treasure to read about and see.
