A quaint, relaxing b&b in Cumbria, Bush Nook is an ideal pit stop on your big adventure along the gorgeous countryside of Hadrian’s Wall. Like all the area’s guest houses it’s a bed and breakfast accommodation with with a warm, friendly welcome and breathtaking, panoramic views. It also lies only 800 meters from the A69, so very accessible to Carlisle, Newcastle and the M6. If bed and breakfast isn’t your thing and you want to be self-sufficient, there is a 4 star holiday cottage available for a self-catering but extremely cosy and comfortable experience. The nearest shops and supermarkets are a mere 10 minutes away in Haltwhistle or Brampton. The surrounding area is such a lush, unspoilt countryside of history and beauty, a perfect starting point for the Hadrian’s Wall Heritage Trail.
As for the breakfasts, this b&b usually serves between 8am and 9am, though earlier can be arranged. They use fresh, local produce wherever possible which is delivered from local businesses and packed lunches and picnic hampers are available to keep your tanks fuelled up with all that walking and adventuring! Vegetarians and any other dietary requirements can, of course, be catered for. The bedrooms are all en suite and include either showers or baths to soak those aching muscles after a long day’s walk! All the rooms are comfortably furnished and include crisp white cotton bedding, a freeview digital television, a hairdryer and hot drink making facilities.
